this december has been a mad rush but i'm glad that i've spent most of it seeking God and embracing in his presence. Mission trip was so awesome. It's hard to explain what we went through and experienced! The presence of God was so real. Spending time with the kids in the village also taught me many valuable lessons and things that I've always taken for granted. The lesser you have, the more you will treasure & appreciate. Even though we experienced certain incidents that attempted to place fear in us, God provided and made us stronger in His faith. I also met really great people with so much enthusiasm and passion in serving God (:

Just two days after mission trip was absolut dependence camp (: was a super last minute decision to go but i enjoyed every single moment of it. I wanted to go initially but I thought that i would be so burnt out after the mission trip and I needed the end of december to catch up on other stuff before school term started. It so happened that during the Christmas service at CCK the day before camp, I got to learn that a girl pulled out from the camp so there was space for me! And the amazing thing was that she was also called Joanne! It was definitely God's calling man. I didn't really feel very tired physically because it just feels so good and energized to be able to soak in God's word and have fun with the people around me (: Can never thank God enough for his grace that he has provided.

fourth anniversary with the beloved. thanks for the really sweet gift love, i was really touched by it (: it was a peaceful and enjoyable time together appreciating mother nature and away from the crowd and the usual trips to malls, restaurants whatsoever. it was our second failed attempt to the tree top walk because it closed when we reached boo.

Met up with the bracey girl to shop for Charlotte's stuff (:

Yeah we're the top in NTU (Not counting NIE haha)
Lost to NIE by 6, but it was good enough already, considering the fact that they have so many club players! (:

Finally a proper meet up with the girls.

I can't thank God enough for such a wonderful family.

I'm tired. Physically and a little of mentally as well haha. 5 consecutive days of matches and training under the sun is no joke. Wish I could have some proper rest and more time with Zc before I leave for Cambodia but time really does not allow any of that. And sad to say, my luggage is still empty and I've yet to prepare materials for the trip! *screams*

Will be back on the 23rd, till then (:

carwash for FOC fundraising!

there were two really adorable golden retrievers. the light brown one went up on the grass haha. their owners kept throwing frisbees into the sea and they'll swim out and get it back. they did it more than 10 times continuously okay.

i always look forward to toddlers' duty at church because of ethan! he's soo cute (: he's shaking his bum to the music haha. before that he sat down and wiggled around but i didn't manage to take that in time :(

one of the best things to have (besides sleeping) on a cold and rainy morning (: haven't had such a sumptuous breakfast for so long (:

good company is a bonus (:

this week is really really hectic:( I've been waking up at crazy hours to travel all the way back to school. Can hardly even rest before I leave on Monday. Oh I forgot I still need to pack. Oh no. Why do things always choose to clash together and make it so difficult to accommodate to so many other commitments. Ugh. Gonna miss the boyfriend who's leaving a day after me for Jap and we're coming back on the same day whoo. It's like going to two completely different worlds, experiencing totally different things, with a different purpose. Do keep us in prayers (:
