I hate going to the dentist x 19483753759309897
I still remember during those primary school days where everyone dreaded going for dental check ups because the school nurse scares everyone away. If you get called, the rest of the class rejoices while you drag your feet and take ages to reach the dental room haha. Horrifying experiences we had, and up till now I still go through it. My poor gums are swelling after the visit to the dentist today :(
Exactly 2 years ago, popo got admitted to hospital. Time really passes so quickly. Thank God that she's still strong since she had overcome the tough period that she went through (:

Missing the boyfriend badly. The poor boy's stuck in field camp in some ulu forest :(
It's been a while since we've gone on a date together.
Oh yes, this is so random but the President's Command Performance last sunday was so inspiring, especially the performance by child prodigy Abigail Sin and violinist Kam Ning. Their performances were needless to say, so amazing, but what was even more inspiring was how they believed that their talents were a gift from God and it is because of Him that they're where they are today. You hardly get to hear such things on national television and what's more they were proud to give honor to God for their achievements. Despite them being so successful, they still showed humility (:
None of us could have come this far just by our own strength. Even the strong falter.
God is our provider, our source of strength. It is because of Him that we are what we are today, amen? (:
If you've missed the show, catch the encore this Sunday at 430pm :)

I've successfully survived the first year of Uni hurray (: When I told my dad my holidays just started, he was like " Huh? Why so fast? Thought you just started your semester?" YES it is that fast. Just when I think that i'm getting the hang of the new modules, the exams are here. And now, they are gone in a flash. Now I need to get a job (i need the cash but i hate the idea of working my holidays away. Or another way could be just calling in to class 95 everyday and hope i win the cash call heh heh).
So it was timbre for dinner and Revolutionary Road at cathay after our last paper (: Apart from Kate Winslet and Leonardo's acting, it was quite a crappy show lol.

Some photos that were long overdue since Easter week, so much have happened since.
god is awesome, he's so awesome.

It's 4am.
I have an exam paper tomorrow.
But I can't sleep.
Even though I just had two papers yesterday.
Because my mind refuses to.
I think its because of the caffeine overload.
Sigh.
Hello darker eye circles.

The previous post was supposed to be the last one before I go off on a hiatus, but I was just reading www.oureverydaythings.com like I've always been and I found something really meaningful which I thought should share with all of you, especially since Good Friday's just tomorrow. You all should read it regularly, it's nice seeing photos of her adorable kids and how God is working in their lives to make them wonderful children of His.
She shared in one of her posts about suffering and the meaning of Good Friday and how God sacrificed his life for all of us just so that we are saved.
"Everyone goes through some sort of suffering in life. But when we’re near the very end of our life, when our suffering hits its highest point, the kind of words that come out of our mouth will reflect the state of our true nobility and the kind of person we truly are.
Some people curse at others. Some people become easily angry at other people for not ’serving’ or ‘understanding’ their ‘great suffering’. Some people choose to not dwell in their situation and go out to encourage others (who’re healthier, and in a better situation).
Jesus Christ suffered greatly though He himself didn’t commit any wrong doing.
HE was mocked, flogged, betrayed, unfairly judged, and finally hung on the cross and left to die (which was the worst kind of punishment that could be given to anyone at the time), after HE lived a life that is good and righteous, helped and healed others.
And what struck me the most is that HE chose not to retaliate. And even when he was in excruciating pain of being nailed to the cross, the very first words HE said was,
"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Luke 23:34
Jesus Christ went through such humiliation and suffering WILLINGLY, because HE loves me. And you. So that we - whose sins rightfully need to be punished - are redeemed. And saved.
What greater love and gift can there be." - Leonny, oureverydaythings.com
Yes we might not understand why we have to go through sufferings at times. Sometimes we feel as though the world is crashing down on us and we wonder why our lives seem so unfair. But always remember how Jesus died for us and sacrificed so much so that we can be saved and we can have eternal life in Him.
We have nothing to fear because He is all-knowing and He has a purpose for us. He never gives us trials that are too hard to handle.
So this Good Friday, let us think about what happened on this very day more than 2000 years ago. And thank God for all that He has done.
Wishing all a Good Friday and Happy Easter! (:
